Accident with Injuries

DATE & TIME: June 10, 2019 @ 1632 hrs

LOCATION: S 86RD (FIRTH ROAD) & US HWY 41

OFFENSE: ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES

On June 10, 2019 at approx. 4:32PM, Deputies with the Gage County Sheriffs Office responded to an injury accident at S 86 RD and US HWY 41 E.

Preliminary details indicate that a south bound Black SUV on S 86 RD failed to stop at the sign at US HWY 41 E junction thus not yielding to the right of way of an east bound White SUV resulting in a collision. The Driver and Passenger in the east bound SUV were transported to Bryan LGH West in Lincoln Nebraska. The Driver in the South bound vehicle was transported to Beatrice Community Hospital.

Both vehicles were a total loss. Drugs &/or Alcohol are not a factor in the accident.

The investigation is on going and is being handled by the Gage County Sheriffs Office.
