Assaulting Corrections Staff with bodily fluids / Obstruction of Government Operations

LOCATION:  Gage County Detention Facility

OFFENSE: Assaulting Corrections Staff with bodily fluids / Obstruction of Government Operations

CASE #: 2019-4025

Deputies of the Gage County Sheriff s Office were summoned to the Detentions Facility to assist correctional officers with enforcing sanctions on an Inmate for violation of inmate rules and regulations.

During this enforcement action the Inmate spat/spit on Correctional Staff and threw toilet water containing urine on them.

William Kelly Jr was arrested for Assaulting correctional staff with bodily Fluids and Obstruction of Government operations.

Both are a Class I Misdemeanors. William Kelly Jr is currently be held at the Gage County Detention center on another felony charge.
