Conspiracy to Commit Distribution of a Controlled Substance

DATE & TIME:  12/12/17 @ 0730 hrs.

LOCATION: Multiple locations in Gage County        

OFFENSE: Conspiracy to Commit Distribution of a Controlled Substance

On 12/12/17 the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, along with assistance from the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force, Beatrice Police Department, Wymore Police Department, and Nebraska State Patrol arrested the following people for Conspiracy to Commit Distribution of a Controlled Substance along with additional related charges. 

Barbara Coleman, age 57, of Wymore, NE.

Christina Lewien, age 34, of Virginia, NE.

Destiny Burr, age 19, of Blue Springs, NE

Michael Hockman, age 34, of Liberty, NE

Skyler Hutchison, age 22, of Blue Springs, NE

The arrests were part of an ongoing drug investigation being conducted by the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.  Several other agencies have also assisted in the investigation including the Beatrice Police Department, Wymore Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, and U.S. Marshals’ Metro Area Fugitive Task Force.

During the arrest of Lewien at 415 3^rd St. in Virginia, NE, deputies also located a small amount of methamphetamine and marijuana inside of Lewien’s bedroom.  Lewien is now facing additional charges in relation these crimes.  

These arrests bring the total to 13 people who are facing criminal charges as a result of this investigation.  Those who have already been charged are as follows:

Kyle Wathor, age 29, of Wymore, NE

Dennis Burr, age 29, of Beatrice, NE

Charles Burr, age 32, of Blue Springs, NE

Aaron Burr, age 37, of Blue Springs, NE

Thomas Sailors, age 58, of Blue Springs, NE

Ashley Bartels, age 19, of Blue Springs, NE

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
