DATE & TIME: 10-20-2019 @ 9:40 am

LOCATION: East Buckeye / South 68th Road

OFFENSE: Driving Under Revocation Arrest

CASE #: 2019-5543

An investigator from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Brandon Imes for driving with a revoked license on Sunday, 10-20-2019. Deputies at the sheriff’s office were initially dispatched to assist an officer from the Beatrice Police Department who radioed in a reckless driver at 10th and Monroe Streets in Beatrice around 9:10 am. The vehicle was reported going in excess of 80 miles per hour through the residential area before turning east and heading out into the county.

As the deputies were searching and canvassing the county roads northeast of Beatrice, a resident called Southeast Communications to report a suspicious male, in a vehicle matching the description of the reckless driver, was at her residence northeast of Pickrell. Responding deputies located the vehicle and had contact with Brandon Imes. He was taken back to Beatrice where he made an admission of operating the vehicle on East Buckeye Road.

An investigator for the sheriff’s office issued a Criminal Citation to Brandon Imes for driving while his license was revoked. The vehicle was towed from the residence where Imes had stopped.
