Juvenile Escapee Arrested

On 04/04/16 at approximately 11:39 p.m., the Gage County Sheriff’s Office received information that a juvenile male, who had escaped from the Youth Rehabilitation Treatment Center in Kearney, Nebraska, was enroute back to Beatrice. 

The juvenile was located by Deputies, with the assistance of the Beatrice Police Department, in a vehicle that was stopped on a traffic stop in Beatrice near 6^th / Industrial. 

The juvenile was taken into custody without incident, and he was transported to the Youth Attention Center in Lincoln.

The juvenile was one of four inmates who escaped from the Youth Rehabilitation Center on 04/03/16.
