Injury Accident at 13th St. & Catalpa St

OFFENSE: Leaving the Scene of an Injury Accident

On November 14^th, 2015 at approximately 0223 hours, Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Beatrice Community Hospital on a report of two male subjects who had arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle, after being involved in a rollover vehicle accident. 

The accident scene was later discovered to be near 13^th St. / Catalpa St. on the southern edge of Beatrice, and the driver had fled from the accident scene on foot. The investigation determined that Scott Schneider, age 39 of Lincoln was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the accident.  Schneider was located a couple of hours later and arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Injury Accident.  After being arrested, Schneider received treatment for injuries suffered in the accident.

A passenger in the vehicle, Randall Uribe, age 40 of Lincoln, was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.          

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
