On 10-20-2019 at approximately 2329 hours, deputies observed a vehicle traveling west on Highway 136 towards Beatrice with a tail light which was not functioning. Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop near Court and Scott Streets, and the vehicle fled. The vehicle drove through two yards in the 1100 block of Market Street and came to a stop in the alley. Deputies apprehended the passenger, Tiffany Morris of Beatrice, and later determined the identity of the driver who had fled on foot. Methamphetamine and a glass smoking device were found in the vehicle.

Morris was arrested for drug charges, accessory to a felony, and false reporting.

An arrest warrant has been requested for the driver for multiple offenses.
