A red, 1999 Ford Expedition was stolen from rural Blue Springs, Nebraska and reported to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and Southeast Communications the morning of Monday, 12-18-2017. As a Gage County Sheriff’s Office investigator was being dispatched to take the theft report, a Beatrice police officer spotted the vehicle on the west side of Beatrice. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled westbound on Highway 4 out of Beatrice. The officer was unable to stop the vehicle and terminated the pursuit.

Anyone with information regarding the theft or possession of the vehicle can contact the Gage County Sheriff’s Office or the Beatrice Police Department. The investigation is active as new leads are being developed.
