One Vehicle Injury Accident

OFFENSE: One Vehicle Injury Accident

CASE: 2018-0507

Driver injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident on SW 42^nd Road south of W. Apple Road, Sunday morning.

On Sunday, February 04, 2018 at approximately 05:43 hours, Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies, Cortland Extrication, 2 Cortland Rescue Units, and Hallam Fire, were dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover injury accident just south of W. Apple Road on S.W. 42^nd Road, with Star Care on standby.

The accident investigation revealed a southbound 2000 GMC Sierra Pickup driven by Tedsen Hillman, 30, of Lincoln, Nebraska was southbound on S.W. 42^nd Road when he lost control of his vehicle, sliding into the east ditch, striking a tree, then rolling onto its top, coming to rest in the east ditch.

Hillman was transported by Clatonia Rescue to the Beatrice Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Restraints reported being in use. Alcohol or drugs believed to have been a contributing factor in the accident. This is an ongoing investigation.
