One Vehicle Injury Accident

LOCATION: S 148 Road/ Main Street Adams, NE        

OFFENSE: One Vehicle Injury Accident

On June 4, 2019, at approximately 2135hrs Deputies along with members of Adams Rescue and Adams Fire Department respond to a one-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of S 148 Road and Main Street. The initial investigation showed a brown 2017 Chevrolet Colorado pick up driven by Kory Troutman, 45 years of age of Lincoln, NE, was northbound on S 148th Road just south of the intersection of S 148th and Main Street.  The vehicle left the roadway to the left and hit a stop sign at the intersection. The vehicle continued northbound through the ditch and crossed over the roadway just north of the intersection and struck a tree on the north side of the intersection. The driver was transported to Bryan West with serious but non-life threatening injuries by Adams Rescue. Seat belts were not in use at the time of the accident. Drug’s nor alcohol were determined to be contributing factors to the accident.
