One Vehicle Rollover Accident

OFFENSE: one vehicle rollover accident

On 01-24-19, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one vehicle rollover accident on Highway 77 south of W Locust Road. A red 1996 Dodge Intrepid sedan, driven by Johnnie Payne Jr of Blue Spring, was traveling northbound on Highway 77 when it lost control due to icy road surface and traveling to fast for conditions. The vehicle left the roadway to the right and rolled over once landing on its wheels. The driver was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Seat belts were in use and air bag did not deploy. Alcohol and Drugs are not believed to be a factor in the accident.
