One Vehicle Rollover Accident @ S 134th Road & Cherry Road

OFFENSE:         One Vehicle Injury Accident

On July 22, 2016, at 0023 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office along with Pickrell Fire and Adams Fire & Rescue responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on S 134th Road and Cherry Road. 

A 2005 Chevy Silverado, driven by Hunter D. McPheron, age 22 of Pickrell, was traveling westbound on Cherry Road approaching a curve in the roadway at the intersection of S 134^th Road and Cherry Road. The vehicle struck a road sign, and then hit a stop sign located at the intersection. The vehicle then began to roll into the ditch, and the driver of the vehicle was ejected.

Mcpheron was flown by Star Care to Bryan West Hospital. Mcpheron is considered in critical condition at this time.

Drugs and alcohol were located at the scene, and are suspected to be a contributing factor in the accident. 

The accident is still under investigation at this time.
