One Vehicle Rollover Accident, Non-injury

DATE & TIME:  Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at approximately 2:30 P.M.

LOCATION: East Highway 41 just west of Johnson/Gage County Line  

OFFENSE: One vehicle rollover accident, non-injury

On 02/05/19, at approximately 2:30 PM, Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a one vehicle roll-over accident on East Highway 41 near the Johnson County and Gage County line. An investigation showed Billie Thompson, 53 years of age, was driving her Chevrolet pick-up eastbound on East Highway 41when her vehicle ran off the road to the south onto the shoulder. When Thompson attempted to steer the vehicle back onto the roadway, she over corrected and this caused the vehicle to leave the roadway to the north and rollover. Adams Fire and Rescue had to extricate Thompson from the vehicle due to it being upside down and she was wearing a seatbelt. Adams Rescue stated she was stable and no reports of any injuries. Thompson was transported to Bryan West Medical Center to be further assessed.
