One Vehicle Rollover Injury Accident on S 176th Road, 1/2 Mile South of E of Birch Road

DATE & TIME: 4/24/2015 at 1424 hours   

LOCATION: On S. 176^th Rd. ½ mile South of E. Birch Rd  

OFFENSE: Injury Accident

CASE #: 2015-1881

On the above date and time, Gage County Deputies, Adams Fire and Rescue and Cortland QRT’S were dispatched to a one vehicle rollover injury accident.  During the investigation, it was determined that Colton Beebe, 14 years old from Adams, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix Northbound on S. 176^th Rd, ½ mile South of E. Birch Road when he lost control of his vehicle on the gravel road, entered the west ditch and rolled the vehicle on to its top.  There was one male passenger in the vehicle who was trapped inside the vehicle. 

Beebe and the passenger were both taken to Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln for minor injuries via Adams Rescue. 

Restraint use is unknown at this time, airbags were not deployed.  Speed and washboards in the road are possible contributing factors in the accident.
