Open Door File

Recently the Gage County Sheriff's Office has had Deputy Joe Baldassano contacting businesses, churches, and schools outside of the city limits of Beatrice.  The purpose of the contact is to update the emergency and after hours contact information for businesses, churches, and schools to add to the "Open Door" file at Southeast Communications Center and to create a fluid document for deputies to access in the event that there would be a need to contact the owner.  Some of those reasons might be; a found open door discovered while on patrol, damage to property, or other various emergency contacts for a variety of reasons.

During his contact attempts, some businesses, churches, and schools were not open and a business card with call back information was left. To help us identify your current information, we are asking those businesses, churches, and schools who have not completed their information to complete it and contact the Sheriff's Office to have the updated information added to our master file.

If you have a business, church, or school that we may have missed, please contact us at 402-223-5222 and speak with Sheriff Gustafson or Chief Deputy Klaus and we will get you added to the list.
