On 5-16-2015 at approximately 2209 hours, deputies conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle at 3rd & G Streets in Wymore. Deputies identified the occupants of the vehicle as 19 year old Shelby Baehr of rural Blue Springs, a 16 year old female, and two 15 year old females. Deputies observed a bottle of Mike’s Hard Lemonade on the floor and conducted a search of the vehicle. During the search, deputies found additional bottles and cans of alcohol, a marijuana pipe, less than an ounce of marijuana, and two pills later identified as Alprazolam, a schedule IV controlled substance. Two of the juveniles admitted to drinking and an open alcohol container was found where they were seated in the car.

Baehr was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Procuring Alcohol for Minors, Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Open Alcohol Containers. She was transported to the Gage County Detention Center.

The 3 juvenile females were issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and released to their parents.
