Possession of Stolen Property

On January 21, 2016, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at 102 W. 3^rd St. in Blue Springs.  Deputies located property that had been stolen from a storage unit in Adams that was reported on January 16^th, 2016.  Deputies also located two chainsaws and a weed eater that had been stolen from a storage unit in Oketo, KS. 

Lance E. Ware, age 31 of Blue Springs, was arrested on multiple counts of Possession of Stolen Property.  Kenneth Rainey, age 40, also of Blue Springs, was cited and released for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  

Numerous other items that are suspected of being stolen in other thefts and burglaries around the area were located throughout the residence, and the investigation is ongoing.
