Rollover Accident

DATE & TIME: April 18, 2020 @ 2130hrs

LOCATION: SW 117 & W Scott Road 

OFFENSE: Rollover Accident

On April 18, 2020, at approximately 2130hrs, Deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of SW 117 and W Scott Road. Once Deputies were one scene, a request for Beatrice Rural Fire, and Beatrice Fire & Recuse was made due to the driver having a minor injury. The driver was treated on scene and not transported. 

After an investigation of the accident was completed. It was found that the driver, 24-year-old  Shelby Blecha of Odell, miss judged the intersection of SW 117 & W Scott Road and backed off the roadway into the ditch causing the vehicle to rollover. The vehicle landed on its top. 

Seat belts were in use, and air bags did deploy in the vehicle. Neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the accident.
