OFFENSE: Search Warrant Execution

On 05/15/19 at approximately 12:30 PM Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with assistance from the Beatrice Police Dept., executed a search warrant at 1700 Park St. Apt. 28 in Beatrice. The search warrant was part of a drug investigation being investigated by the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and Beatrice Police Department. During the execution of the search warrant, items with suspected methamphetamine and marijuana residue were located. Jason P. Frerichs, age 46 of Beatrice, was located inside of the residence along with his two children, ages 14 and 17. Frerichs was arrested for the following charges: Distribution of a Controlled Substance; Aiding and Abetting Distribution of a Controlled Substance; Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession of Marijuana, Less than 1 oz.; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Child Neglect; and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The Department of Health and Human Services assisted with the placement of the children at a suitable residence.
