On 07/03/19 at approximately 7:30 AM the Gage County Sheriff's Office, along with assistance from the Beatrice Police Dept., executed a search warrant for illegal drugs at 510 E 1st St. in Blue Springs, NE. Upon entry into the residence, deputies encountered four people who were detained. Aaron Burr, age 39 of Blue Springs, was detained and a meth pipe was observed in plain view in his pants pocket. Dennis Burr, age 30 of Blue Springs, was also located inside the residence and he was also detained. During a search of Dennis Burr's bedroom deputies located the following items: a broken glass meth pipe with white residue, a broken glass tube with white residue, 11 unused 2”x2” plastic baggies, a switchblade knife, another knife with a 6” straight blade, and a prescription pill bottle containing 17 Trazadone Hyrdrochloride pills prescribed to another person. Thomas Sailors, age 59 of Blue Springs, was also found in possession of a glass meth pipe, a small amount of marijuana, and several marijuana pipes. Residue from all of the meth pipes tested positive for methamphetamine. A prescription pill bottle containing suspected psilocybin mushrooms was located in the living room along with three empty marijuana containers and marijuana pipes. Aaron Burr was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Dennis Burr was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, (2) counts of Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Legend Drug. Thomas Sailors was given a court date for his criminal charges.
