Single Vehicle Injury Accident

LOCATION: Cherry Road, East of S. 120^th Road          

OFFENSE: Single Vehicle Injury Accident

On April 19, 2019 at approximately 2000 hours a BMW 800GS was traveling westbound on Cherry Road approaching S. 120^th Road. The motorcycle hit a patch of loose gravel and the driver laid the motorcycle over at low speeds on the right side of the roadway. The Driver and passenger of the motorcycle were taken to Bryan LGH West by a family member to be treated for non-life threating injuries.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 44 year old Chad Yost from Adams. The Passenger of the motorcycle was Yost’s six year old son. The accident was reported at the hospital to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office who then contacted the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and assisted with the investigation. Drug’s nor alcohol were determined to be contributing factors to the accident.
