Single Vehicle Rollover Injury Accident on E. Hwy 41, 1/2 Mile W of S 38th Road

LOCATION:  E. Hwy 41, 1/2 mile west of S 38^th Rd, Adams, NE 

OFFENSE: Rollover Injury Accident

On Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, Deputies from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Clatonia Fire & Rescue and Cortland Fire & Rescue were dispatched to E. Hwy 41 near S. 38^th Rd in reference to a single vehicle rollover.

Upon arrival, Deputies observed a white Ford Pick-up with severe damage from rolling over in the North ditch. The driver was identified as Trevor Huls, age 20 of Adams, NE. During the investigation, it was determined Huls had fallen asleep after a long drive and left the roadway causing his vehicle to flip end over end. Deputies were advised Huls was being transported to Bryan West in Lincoln with possible severe injuries.

Huls, had been wearing his seatbelt and all airbags deployed. Alcohol use is not suspected and Huls is expected to make a full recovery.
