OFFENSE: Two Vehicle Injury Accident

One-person injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle accident on US Highway 77 near West I Street, Wymore.
On Saturday, February 01, 2020, at approximately 10:30 hours, deputies with the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, were dispatched to a two-vehicle injury accident near the intersection of U.S. Highway 77 and West I Street in Wymore.
The accident investigation revealed, a northbound 2011 Chevrolet Impala 4 door Sedan, driven by Gerlach Weston, 30, of Plymouth, ran into the back of a northbound 1998 Ford Ranger Pickup, driven by James Ullman, 56, of Wymore.
The collision occurred as Ullman was turning left into the driveway of Ullman Auto Sales. Weston reported, he did not see Ullman’s turn signal, and by the time he realized the truck had slowed, it was too late.
Ullman was transported to the Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while Weston reported no injuries.
Lap and shoulder restraints in use by both drivers. Driver’s side airbag deployed in the Weston vehicle. Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have been a factor in the accident.
