Two Vehicle Injury Accident

LOCATION: US Highway 77 / State Highway 41

OFFENSE: Two Vehicle Injury Accident

CASE: 2020-2804        

On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at approximately 16:55 hours, Gage County Deputies, along with Clatonia Rescue, Cortland QRT and Beatrice EMS, were dispatched to a two-vehicle injury accident at the Jct of US Highway 77 and NE Highway 41.

A preliminary accident investigation revealed, Cyndy Mayleny Reyes-Robles, 22 of Tecumseh, Nebraska had been eastbound on Hwy 41, driving a silver 2013 Ford Focus. After stopping at the stop sign at US Hwy 77, she proceeded to turn onto  US Hwy 77 N, failing to yield to a southbound white 2017 Ford F150 driven by Annette Gomon 72, of Odell, Nebraska.

Robles reported no injuries and refused treatment. 

Annette Gorman and passenger, Keith Gomon 91, were taken to the Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Airbags deployed in both vehicles. Restraints also in use in both vehicles.

Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have been a factor in the accident.
