Investigators from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, along with Detectives from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office in Clinton, Missouri, conducted a follow-up investigation regarding the truck reported to be stolen.

The owner of the vehicle from Columbia, Missouri had recovered the vehicle several months ago, but had failed to notify Missouri authorities the vehicle had been recovered and the vehicle was not taken out of the national computer database as being stolen.

An investigator from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Holmesville resident and he was able to take possession of the vehicle prior to it being towed.
