Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver

 OFFENSE: Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver, Child Abuse, Maintaining a Drug House

On Friday March 15, 2024 at approximately 2:30 PM the Gage County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 1316 Scott St. in Beatrice.  The search warrant was part of an investigation into marijuana distribution occurring at the residence in the presence of an infant child.  Deputies were also looking for Trayvin Burr, age 18 of Beatrice, who had four warrants for his arrest and was suspected of distributing marijuana from the residence.  Upon entry into the residence, deputies located Burr and placed him into custody without incident.  During a search of the residence, deputies located three separate baggies of marijuana, along with a digital scale and several items of drug paraphernalia.  Burr was lodged at the Gage County Detention on his four warrants and he was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute, Child Abuse, Maintaining a Drug House, and other charges.    

 Vanessa Wallman, age 19 of Beatrice, was also located in the residence and she was issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Child Neglect, and Maintaining a Drug House. 

 A 6-month-old infant was in the residence at the time of the search, and deputies found the residence to be filthy with unsanitary and unhealthy living conditions deemed to be detrimental to the health of the infant.  The Gage County Attorney’s Office and the Department of Health and Human Services were contacted regarding the welfare of the infant and to provide services.
