Death Investigation

DATE & TIME:  Saturday, January 19, 2019 @ 1249 hours

LOCATION: 15835 SW 86^th Rd.          

OFFENSE: Death Investigation

On 01/19/19 at approximately 1249 hrs. Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 15835 SW 86^th Rd. on a report of a juvenile that had been run over by a bus. Dewitt Fire and Rescue and Wilber Fire and Rescue were dispatched as well. Upon arrival, Maddox Weber, age 2 of 15835 SW 86^th Rd., was declared deceased by responding medical units. The investigation determined that Maddox Weber had been accidentally run over by his father while the bus was in motion in the driveway of the residence.  Accident reconstruction experts with the Nebraska State Patrol also responded and processed the scene. Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to be a factor in the accident.
