One Vehicle Injury Accident on Highway 136 & SW 61st Road

On 6/17/15 at 1833 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and Beatrice Rural Fire and Rescue responded to a one vehicle injury accident on Highway 136 and SW 61^st Road.

Melissa Brewer, age 23 of Beatrice was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Malibu west on Highway 136. She was unable to slow down when turning south onto SW 61^st Road and went into the ditch.

Brewer was transported to Bryan West in Lincoln, NE for her injuries.

Seatbelts were used and airbags deployed. Alcohol was not a factor.
