OFFENSE: One Vehicle Injury Accident

On 11/05/23 at approximately 2:30 P.M. the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one vehicle accident near S. 41st & E. Linden Road. When deputies arrived, a white Chevy pickup was on its passenger side in a bean field.
The driver, Blanca Dahlkoetter 47 years of age, of Blues Springs, NE, was operating the pickup southbound on S. 41st Road and was navigating a curve that turns to the east. While taking the curve, Dahlkoetter lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center line, entering the north ditch rolling over and coming to rest in a bean field. Blanca was transported by Star Care to be assessed for non-life-threatening injuries.
Front passenger Saul Garcia 20 years of age of Blue Springs, NE, was found to be trapped under the vehicle. Emergency personnel were able to extract Garcia from the vehicle and he was transported to Beatrice Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. A juvenile passenger and his father Clifford Dahlkoetter, were also transported to Beatrice Community Hospital to be assessed for non-life-threating injuries.
In total, there were six passengers and four of them were transported by medical personnel and two were treated at the accident scene.
It is unknown if seatbelts were being utilized and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
Those also responding to the accident were Beatrice Fire and Rescue, Beatrice Rural Fire and Rescue, Wymore Fire and Rescue, Blue Springs Fire and Rescue and Star Care.
The accident is still under investigation.
