One Vehicle Injury Accident

OFFENSE: One Vehicle Injury Accident

On 12/16/18 at approximately 12:00 P.M., the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Beatrice Community Hospital where a 17 years of age juvenile, was reporting injuries from a motorcycle accident at the intersection of S. 1^st Road and West Hickory Road. The juvenile was the driver of the motorcycle and the only rider. The juvenile was taken from the accident scene to the Beatrice Community Hospital by witnesses of the accident. Information gathered from witnesses and the juvenile, resulted in finding the juvenile was driving his motorcycle at a speed that was too fast to make an eastbound turn on a curve which caused the motorcycle and the juvenile to enter a grassy median and overturn. The juvenile was being treated for his non-life threatening injuries at the end of the investigation.
