OFFENSE: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver within 1000’ of a Playground, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Money, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On 12/11/19 at approximately 6:45 PM the Gage County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 712 N. 8^th St. in Wymore, NE. The search warrant was part of an investigation involving methamphetamine distribution occurring in Gage County.  During a search of the residence, David Shepardson was located in the garage and he was detained. During a search of the garage investigators located two baggies containing approximately 3.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, 39 unused plastic zip-lock baggies, a meth pipe, and $352 in U.S. currency. The money is believed to be profits from meth sales. The residence is across the street from Arbor State Park, which places it within 1000’ of a playground. Shepardson was lodged at the Gage County Detention Center on the above charges.
