On April 24th, 2021, at 8:53 pm officers from the Beatrice Police Department attempted a traffic stop on a motorcycle, a black 2000 Kawasaki VN800 B, inside the city limits of Beatrice. The motorcyclist did not stop and fled northbound at a high rate of speed.

A few minutes later a Gage County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted the motorcycle at Highway 77 and West Dogwood Road traveling northbound at speeds of 100 to 110 mph. A traffic stop was attempted by Gage County Deputies at Highway 77 and Birch Road, but the motorcycle failed to stop and continued northbound on Highway 77 at a high rate of speed. 

The motorcycle continued northbound on Highway 77 into Lancaster County where deputies lost sight near Firth Road and ended the pursuit.
