DATE & TIME: September 12, 2016 – 1617 hours

LOCATION: East Highway 41 between S 94th and S 110th Roads

OFFENSE: One Vehicle Rollover Injury Accident

CASE #: 2016-4803

On September 12, 2016 at approximately 1617 hours, members of Adams Fire and Rescue, along with Deputies from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a report of a one vehicle rollover accident on Highway 41 between South 94th and South 110th Roads.

Preliminary investigation found that the 1993 Ford F350, driven by 19 year old Morgan Stolz of Sterling, was eastbound on Highway 41.  The vehicle lost control just east of South 94th Road and left the roadway on the north side.  The vehicle then reenters the roadway and traveled across the roadway entering the south ditch. The vehicle then reenters the roadway at an 80 degree angle with the roadway, and began to roll over multiple times.  The vehicle came to rest on its side in the eastbound lane of the highway.

Both passengers were transported to Bryan West for injuries sustained from the accident.

Seat belts were in use by both passengers, and airbags did not deploy. Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to be a factor in the accident.

This accident is still under investigation and charges are pending.
