Search Warrant Leads to Arrests

DATE & TIME: Monday, March 8, 2021 @ 1710 Hours

LOCATION: 42853 S. 162nd Rd.

OFFENSE: Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (8 counts)

                Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of Marijuana less than

                1 oz., Maintaining a Drug House, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession

                of a Controlled Substance in an Unapproved Container (4 counts), Tampering

                with Evidence.

On Monday, March 8, 2021 at 5:10 PM the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, along with assistance from the Beatrice Police Department, executed a search warrant at 42853 S. 162nd Rd. which is the residence of Michael and Debra Schultz. The search warrant was part of an investigation involving illegal drug distribution occurring at the residence. During the contact with Michael Schultz, Michael dumped out a metal cannister with a white crystal substance, which was later determined to be methamphetamine.  Numerous broken meth pipes, jars of marijuana, marijuana pipes, and a digital scale were also located in the residence. Eight rifles were also located in the residence. A prescription pill bottle belonging to Debra Schultz was also located and it contained four different types of controlled substances. Gabriel Beavers was at the residence when deputies arrived and it was determined that he had driven to the residence while under a 15-year license revocation. Michael Schultz and Gabriel Beavers were arrested and Debra Schultz was issued a citation and released.
