Stolen Motor Vehicles

OFFENSE:         Stolen Motor Vehicles

Over the last week, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office has received multiple reports of vehicles being stolen in Gage County.  There has also been one unsuccessful attempt at stealing another vehicle. 

All of these incidents have occurred during the overnight hours.  In all of the incidents, the keys to the vehicles were left inside of the vehicle.  In some of the incidents, the vehicles were stolen while they were parked inside of outbuildings. 

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate these incidents, but reminds citizens to not leave the keys in your vehicles, and to report any suspicious activity.
