On Wednesday, 04-22-2020, at approximately 2:30 pm, 19-year-old Treyton Hinton of Beatrice was arrested by a Gage County Sheriff’s Office investigator on a felony warrant for fraudulent insurance acts. The investigator had noticed the felony warrant had been issued by the County Court of Gage County for Hinton involving an incident that occurred last summer. The investigator and a special services deputy attempted to contact Hinton at his residence in Beatrice, but he was out of town. Arrangements were made with his family to have him turn himself in at the sheriff’s office when he returned. 
At approximately 2:30 pm Hinton came to the sheriff’s office to turn himself in on the warrant.  He was placed under arrest by the investigator and taken to the detention center where he was booked and posted bond before being released.
